Terms & Conditions For Northants Pro Clean

At Northants Pro Clean, we are committed to delivering high-quality exterior cleaning services. By scheduling any pressure washing service with us, you (the client) agree to the following terms and conditions

1. Legally Binding Agreement

​

Once a quote is accepted (verbally, in writing, or by booking confirmation), this forms a valid and enforceable agreement between Northants Pro Clean and the client. The agreement outlines the scope of work, price, and estimated timeframe for completion.

​

2. Pre-Existing Conditions

​

We are not liable for any pre-existing damage to surfaces, structures, or materials, including loose render, crumbling pointing, cracked paving, weakened brickwork, or discoloured joints. Our cleaning process may expose such issues during or after treatment.

​

3. Water & Electrical Access

​

Clients are responsible for ensuring that there is accessible, working outdoor water supply and, where necessary, electricity. Water usage is considered part of the service and not itemised separately unless otherwise agreed.

​

3a. Waste Disposal

​

We are not licensed to remove waste from your property. It is the client’s responsibility to dispose of any debris or organic waste resulting from the service. However, rubbish or debris can be bagged up and left in an agreed location upon request.

 

4. Surface Expectations & Colour Change

​

Pressure washing may result in colour variation or tone differences on aged or previously untreated surfaces. We do not guarantee uniform results due to differences in material, wear, and prior staining. On older or delicate properties, we can tailor methods to minimise drastic changes if requested in advance.

4a. Damage from Poor Maintenance

​

We are not liable for damage caused by long-term neglect or instability of surfaces, such as excessive weed growth, loose paving, or deteriorating mortar. Cleaning may reveal or worsen these issues.

​

5. Eco-Friendly Product Use

​

We always aim to use biodegradable and eco-friendly products. Stronger chemicals are used only when necessary and with full care. If a customer requests no chemicals (for heritage or aesthetic reasons), we will honour that where safe and effective. Customers must notify us of any specific concerns ahead of time.

​

 

6. Stain & Organic Growth Removal

​

​

While we make every effort to remove stains, moss, algae, and other organic build-ups, some deep or historic staining may not lift fully on the first treatment. Certain results may take days or weeks to reach their final cleaned appearance.

​

6a. Regrowth of Moss, Algae & Weeds

​

We cannot guarantee how long surfaces will remain clear after treatment. Moss, algae, lichen, and weeds are natural growths that may return over time, sometimes sooner depending on surface type, drainage, and environmental conditions. Regular maintenance may be required to keep areas looking their best.

​

7. Runoff & Rinse Protocol

​

We always rinse windows, doors, and surrounding areas once work is complete. However, this is not a full window cleaning service. For optimal appearance, customers may wish to arrange separate window cleaning. Please ensure all doors and windows are sealed to avoid water ingress.

​

7a. Post-Clean Surface Safety

​

Surfaces may remain slippery while drying. We advise caution on patios, driveways, and walkways immediately after cleaning. Northants Pro Clean cannot be held responsible for injuries resulting from slippery conditions.

​

8. Plant & Landscaping Care

​

We take steps to protect surrounding plants and landscaping, including pre-watering when necessary and rinsing affected areas. However, we are not liable for incidental plant damage, especially where chemical use is requested or required.

​

9. Scheduling & Weather Delays

​

Our work is weather-dependent. If adverse conditions such as heavy rain, frost, or high winds arise, we may need to reschedule. We will always notify the client as early as possible. Likewise, if you need to change your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.

​

10. Customer Courtesy & Access

​

We ask for mutual respect and clear communication throughout. Please ensure access to all areas is granted, including removal of vehicles or garden furniture if needed. If access is restricted and delays are caused, a call-out fee may be applied.

​

10a. Site Safety & Hazards

​

Please be aware that pressure washing equipment involves high-powered machinery, and hoses or cables may present trip hazards during operation. We ask that pets, children, and any unnecessary persons remain clear of the work area while cleaning is in progress for everyone’s safety.

​

11. Payments & Invoicing

​

Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is due on the day of service by bank transfer, card, or cash. We will provide a digital or written invoice upon request. Late payments may result in additional charges or interest as per UK law.

​

11a. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

​

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may incur a charge of up to 50% of the quoted price.

​

12. Product Warranties & Liability

​

We are not responsible for faults or failures of surfaces or materials following cleaning if such failures are due to manufacturing defects or installation issues. Our service does not affect product warranties unless stated otherwise.

​

​

By booking a pressure washing service with Northants Pro Clean, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
